New to running or looking to run more regularly? This plan is here to help you make running a habit – and at the same time make you feel like nothing can hold you back. Not even gravity.

There are so many benefits to running regularly. From improved cardiovascular fitness and strength to elevated mood, better sleep and reduced stress. But those gains have to be earned.  Let’s not sugarcoat it, making running a regular habit isn’t easy. And the hardest part is getting started. Well, it was, until you found this training plan. 

We’ve worked with certified personal training and running coach Tiffany Forte to develop a six-week plan to kick-start a regular running habit. If you’re a new runner, looking to get out there again after some time away, or just want to run more regularly, this is for you.

Progressing gradually day by day, this plan steadily builds a foundation of fitness while letting you enjoy the journey. This is not about pace or distance, but the power of consistency. Variety and a mix of running, walking and cross-training keeps things interesting. Plus, the workouts are flexible and you dictate the pace, helping you develop what we hope will be a lifelong love of running.

Meet our coach

Tiffany Forte is a certified personal trainer and running coach who founded the Fit and Female Fitness Program to create a safe space where body positivity thrives. Since falling in love with fitness in 2012, she’s participated in the Spartan Race, a ½ Marathon, Ragnar Relay Race and several 5 and 10Ks. She is at the forefront of the movement to transform traditional fitness culture with a special focus on creating more spaces and experiences for black women and women of color.
